HISTORYCrosspoint Community Church began in 1996. Our first place of worship was a local snack warehouse.
After meeting at Wooster High School for a brief time, we moved our Sunday worship to Dodson Elementary School.
We began renovation on our current meeting location in October 2004. We held our first worship at 2900 Mill Street on December 19, 2004.
RELATIONSHIPSCrosspoint is a church with a streamlined structure and schedule. Our structure is based on a small group approach. Our shcedule is basic:
(1) We come together each Sunday to celebrate who God is and what He is doing.
(2) We meet weekly in home groups for worship, encouragement, Bible study, and prayer.
The reason for our streamlined ministry is to make time for relationships. We believe relationships with family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers are important. But we believe a relationship with God is essential.
DIRECTIONS FOR LIFEOur Purpose
We're here to help anyone become a completely devoted follower of Jesus.Two key points undergird our purpose. Crosspoint will humbly obey (1) Jesus' great command (Matthew 22:34-40) to love God and love people;
and (2) Jesus' great commission (Matthew 28:16-20) to make disciples of all nations.

Our RelationshipsBecause relationships are so important, we provide three primary ways to stay connected and keep growing.
- We have open groups that are on-going throughout the year. Our weekly home groups and our Sunday worship celebration are the two essential open groups for Crosspoint.
- We offer closed groups that include accountability partnerships with two or three people who meet regularly for Bible study and prayer and covenant groups that gather for a short time to study biblically-oriented topics.
- Our ministry teams are structured to give avenues for service on a local, state, national, and international level.
Our Attitudes
- Keep Jesus central.
- Keep loving God.
- Keep loving people.
- Keep everything simple.
- Keep relationships connected.
- Keep ourselves growing.
- Keep conversations real.
- Keep expecting God to work.
Our VisionWe see God using Crosspoint as a catalyst for revival in our nation.GOD'S MASTERPIECEGod made you for a purpose. Your life is not just one random activity or circumstance after the other. God has a specific plan for you.
You may have never thought about the great things God has in store for those who follow Him. Or else, it's been quite some time since you've considered the way God views His followers. Check out this verse, written by one of the first church leaders.
For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. --Ephesians 2:10, NLT
If you're uncertain about your relationship with God -- whether or not you're a follower of Jesus -- then you can call out to Him like this:
Dear Jesus,
Thank you for being so amazing. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I really want to follow you.
Right now, I turn from my sin and place my complete trust in you. I receive your free gift of eternal life and welcome your control of my life. Thank you for giving me new life.
Amen.
